Written by Emily Bennington and her mentor, Skip Lineberg. It’s the sort of book a post over-achiever student would read. A lot of career books focus on how to get the job. This one focuses on what they don’t teach you in college. What to do on your first day at work. Your first week. Your first month. Your first year. A lot of the material is common sense, but it doesn’t mean it comes immediately to mind. If I could recommend a book to a recent graduate, this one would be it.
The book is the result of a journal covering 6 years of wins and fails in the professional world.
She answers questions about the process on the Personal Branding Blog.
